EasyLife for Scénic,
Grand Scénic and Koleos
The Scénic, Grand Scénic and Koleos models are the latest in the Renault line-up to be realigned under the new simplified EasyLife range structure, which also benefits from WLTP compliant engines.
After the launch of Clio, Captur and Mégane EasyLife range, the simplified range on the Scénic family comes with a price repositioning much lower on average, in order to make Scénic even more competitive. With three trim levels: Play, Iconic and Signature, prices now start at £21,390 at participating dealers - £620 less than the previous entry level Expression+ model.
The Koleos now comes in two specifications – Iconic and GT Line – with prices starting at an MRRP of £27,495 OTR.
New WLTP-compliant engines
To meet the newest Euro 6D-temp standards, Renault is introducing a new range of engines with technologies such as a Selective Catalytic Reduction system (with AdBlue®) for Diesel and GPF (Gasoline Particle Filter) for petrol engines, already implemented on the Mégane, Scénic and Kadjar.
The Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system continuously transforms Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) into harmless gases (water vapour and nitrogen) using an ammonia injection from a urea-based solution (AdBlue®) into the catalyst. This technology is effective in all circumstances and has no impact on our diesel engines’ performance or fuel consumption. All Renault engines with SCR technology will change name to ‘Blue dCi’.
GPF removes particles contained within exhaust gases by retaining them in a micro-porous, honeycomb structure. In contrast to Diesel particulate filters, GPF regenerates automatically and regularly by burning stored soot. It is maintenance-free and has no effect on fuel consumption.
