The German manufacturer continues its perseverance with hydrogen power and has confirmed it will be offered alongside ICE, PHEV and battery electric versions of the X5. Details are scarce, but drive technology is based on the third-gen fuel cell system that BMW is developing with Toyota.

Dacia Hipster Concept
This all-electric compact four-seater is aiming to “halve the carbon footprint of electric vehicles”, with everyday mobility needs at its heart. Measuring just 3m long, 1.53m high and 1.55m wide, it is ideal for urban environments, while the boot space ranges from 70 to 500 litres.

Geely EX5
Another Chinese car manufacturer is making its mark in the UK with another C-segment SUV. The EX5 will be offered in three trim levels, each deploying a 60.2kWh battery pack – with the car producing 218hp. Charging time from 30-80% has been figured at around 20 minutes.

In a design that could be mistaken for the new A8, this concept is described as “the private jet for the road”. The 5.35m-long saloon features Level 4 autonomous driving technology.
