The rise of digital solutions in the fleet sector

With the rapid electrification of the fleet sector, an efficient, reliable and comprehensive charging infrastructure is becoming a critical factor in ensuring success across the industry. Businesses are actively looking for solutions to accelerate their shift to electric vehicles, but they are only able to make this transition with the appropriate charging and support solutions in place.

Since our foundation in 1989, Humax has focused on extensive R&D in digital technology. We have been a leading innovator in the field of consumer electronics, particularly renowned for excellence in manufacturing TV set-top boxes and digital receivers, and software development. So, although perhaps better known for our TV solutions in the UK, Humax has operated in the global mobility sector since 2011, and we now offer a full suite of mobility solutions for both private and commercial environments. These include smart parking, EV charging infrastructure with operational platforms, and shared mobility services, which have already been highly successful in South Korea and other markets – including a partnership with Uber Carshare in Australia.

Having recently acquired a company with power conversion technology and charging business expertise, we are developing a full portfolio of commercial EV chargers, from AC slow chargers to DC fast and ultra-fast chargers with charging point operation software. We recently launched our Smart Home Chargers, and are in the process of leveraging the expertise gained from our global operations with the introduction of commercial chargers to the UK very soon. This expansion will be backed by our robust and trusted customer service teams, who have extensive experience, technical expertise and knowledge of the market.
