Audi has revived the A2 nameplate for a new entry-level all-electric hatch. Arriving 21 years after the original was discontinued, the A2 e-tron “will further rejuvenate Audi’s model range and open up access to premium electric mobility” as the brand’s smallest EV yet.

BMW iX5 Hydrogen
The German manufacturer continues its perseverance with hydrogen power and has confirmed it will be offered alongside ICE, PHEV and battery electric versions of the X5. Details are scarce, but drive technology is based on the third-gen fuel cell system that BMW is developing with Toyota.

Cupra Raval
This electric, compact performance hatchback lands later this year as a sister to the Škoda Epiq, Volkswagen ID. Polo and Volkswagen ID. Cross. Based on the UrbanRebel concept, it promises up to 226hp, up to 280 miles of range and a fast, stylish driving experience.

Dacia Hipster Concept
This all-electric compact four-seater is aiming to “halve the carbon footprint of electric vehicles”, with everyday mobility needs at its heart. Measuring just 3m long, 1.53m high and 1.55m wide, it is ideal for urban environments, while the boot space ranges from 70 to 500 litres.

Genesis GV60 Magma
The GV60 Magma springboards the brand’s plans for the Magma division. The high-performance EV features a 650hp dual-motor system good for 0-60mph in 3.4 seconds and an 84kWh battery able to charge from 10-80% in 18 minutes.

Jaguar Type 00
The face of the new Jaguar brand, the Type 00 is the epitome of the company’s ‘copy nothing’ approach. This concept hints at the first production car to come – an electric four-door GT, with fast charging and nearly 500 miles of range.

Chery-owned brand Lepas will enter the UK market in Q3 2026 with the L8 five-seat SUV. Built on a new NEV modular platform, the L8 will feature a plug-in hybrid option that looks likely to offer a 66-mile electric range and 807-mile total range.

The Eletre X marks Lotus’s first move into plug-in hybrids and will set “a new benchmark for electric‑first performance mobility”. The high-performance SUV combines a 2.0-litre petrol engine with dual electric motors for 952hp and 0-62mph in 3.3 seconds.

Range Rover Electric
A long time coming – ever since the Evoque Electric (Concept E) was first demonstrated in 2015 – Range Rover will launch a new crossover this year, likely to use I-Pace running gear. Targeted range is approximately 300–330 miles (WLTP).

The Škoda Peaq is an upcoming all-electric seven-seater flagship SUV set to debut in summer 2026. Positioned above the Enyaq, the Peaq transitions the Škoda Vision 7S concept into series production and is designed “for modern families and everyday explorers alike”.

Vauxhall Astra

Vauxhall’s Corsa GSE electric hot hatch arrives later this year. Following the 280hp Mokka GSE, this rally-inspired model draws on Vauxhall’s motorsport DNA. Part of the Grand Sport Electric (GSE) sub-brand, it aims to combine agility with high-performance, zero-emission power.

Arriving this autumn, the ID. Cross is new affordable, five-seater electric compact SUV priced from ~£25k. The ID. Polo arrives later this year as a new, affordable electric supermini, based on the ID. 2all concept. Volvo EX60
With the launch of the all-electric EX60, a sister model to the top-selling XC60, Volvo has stepped into a new era of electric mobility. Arriving from September and sitting under the EX90, the all-electric large SUV offers a ‘game-changing’ range of up to 503 miles, up to 400kW fast-charging capability and a starting price around £60k.
