There is a lot of uncertainty around the fleet market at the moment. The Government is yet to provide clarity on benefit-in-kind (BIK) taxation, drivers and businesses are trying to evaluate the respective merits and uses of diesel, petrol and electric powertrains and the introduction of the new Worldwide harmonised Light vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) has caused confusion.


However, here at Renault, we are confident we offer complete clarity to any business running cars, vans or both.

For years, we have been one of the leaders in providing vehicles that offer drivers and fleets an excellent BIK tax and SMR (Service, Maintenance and Repair) position, which means that while the overall market might fluctuate, we are a model of consistency. That will continue.


We have been ahead of the game on WLTP, working over the past months to realign the range so that any effects from the new testing regime are minimised: our new EasyLife trim structure on Clio, Captur, Mégane, Scénic and Koleos ensures our cars are attractive to fleets from an equipment and pricing perspective, and drivers get transparency on what to expect too.

We also recognise that fleets are increasingly looking at new powertrains, and in this context, Renault can claim to be an international electric power. With the ZOE, Master Z.E. and Kangoo Z.E. 33 models we offer an exceptional, proven package of zero tailpipe emission vehicles.


But it’s not just about excellent products: in these uncertain times, you need stability and back-up from your vehicle provider and to this end, we have launched an innovative new Remote Account Management programme that will allow instant video access with an account manager, and a Drive My Business website offering advice to start-ups and SMEs.
